Tributes from our audience
Re|Floyd played recently at George III venue in Hoddeston. A truly great authentic-sounding band. If you’re into Pink Floyd and looking for a top tribute act… look no further than a night with the boys from Re|Floyd
Neville
Great show last night, guys. Superb playing. Dazzling lights. Excellent song selection – so good to hear Pigs. Thanks for a brilliant evening and see you again.
Richard Lock
I have to say, I had a choice of two Pink Floyd and I’m so glad I saw you at Hertford. Damn you, at one point you brought a tear to my eye. Great, great band and hope to see you play again. There was not one person in that stage who was not mesmerising.
Mark Sheppard
The band

Guitar and vocals
Archie‘s first single was “See Emily Play”, played endlessly on his Fisher Price record player. From the age of 15, he worked as a stage tech and sound engineer at various venues. Then ran his own recording studio.
A TV talent show winner and multi-instrumentalist, he has worked in Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and Moody Blues tribute bands. Plus a number of solo acoustic shows.
Not one for “gear talk”, he does admit to using Levinson, Martin and Godin guitars, Marshall amps, Roland, Boss and Digitech effects, and Shure mics.

Guitar
Bill taught himself the guitar by learning “The Wall” from start to finish. Then worked his way through the Floyd catalogue. During his 35 years on guitar, he has played a number of major venues, including the Roundhouse and Jazz Café. And done session work for TV.
Gear-wise, Bill plays his Fender Strat through a special blend of boutique and analogue pedals, from Analog Man, among others. All with a modded Fender Blues Deluxe amp.

Keyboards
Alex has been performing, writing, and recording music for decades. The last one, playing at chateaux and events across southwest France.
When Re|Floyd said they were looking for a new keyboard player, Alex jumped at the chance. He arrived, armed with handwritten sax solos and a Nord keyboard full of specialist patches. And got the job by the end of the first song.

Bass
Dietmar cut his teeth on the bass on southern rock, blues, jazz-funk and musicals. He then worked during his university years as a live and studio sound engineer for OPUS (“Live Is Life”), and other Austrian acts.
Returning to the bass in 2017, Dietmar joined Re|Floyd in 2020 and worked also with The Round Window, who released their debut CD in 2022, with the second CD coming in 2023. He plays Warwick and Ibanez basses through Trace Elliot and Laney amps and cabs.

Drums
Chaz started drumming aged three, but had to wait another six years for his first real drum kit. As a teenager, his band Neversed supported THE Status Quo at Trentham Park.
Following his diploma and degree at the London College of Music, Chaz worked in function bands around the UK. With Re|Floyd, he has the chance to pay homage to a band that’s given us so many records which have stood the test of time.

Backing vocals
Hollie was captivated by “The Wall” since before she could speak. In 2018, at Hatfield Forest’s Woodfest, she heard Re|Floyd for the first time – and fought her way to the front of a packed crowd.
When given the chance to audition, she dove headfirst into the music and dynamic. She also writes songs and has taken up the piano.

Charly was raised on Motown and classic rock. She writes original material on the piano, plays open mics, and has worked with several bands,
Finding her backing voice in Re|Floyd has been a new venture she thoroughly enjoys. It has the added bonus of being her parents’ favourite music – so she’ll always have a fan in the audience.

Lighting
Olly is a lighting designer from London, who helps make Re|Floyd concerts truly spectacular.
When not working with the band, he’s either up a ladder or wiggling cables in clubs at ungodly hours in the morning. His passion stems from immersing an audience in lights and atmospheric effects – and what better music is there to do this than Floyd?
